These photos are of the oldest Julie who is entering the 8th grade! She has really matured and becoming such a great young lady. She hated that I put her in a dress however, she looked so beautiful!

Why I became a photographer
Since I was a young girl, photography and the love of taking pictures has always been a passion. To family and friends, it was evident early on that my role would evolve to be the one to have a camera in hand to capture events from holiday gatherings to simple backyard barbecues. Now once a dream has become a reality for me.
When I became a mother I soon realized the joy of a child and each moment is something to be remembered. One of the best feelings is to be able to capture a special moment, expression, spirit, personality and stop it from running away. I realized very fast that the best pictures were not always the ones where my daughter was best dressed or her hair was perfectly in place. They were the ones that captured a memory, the face that cracks me up, or the look that just melts your heart every time you see it.
My goal is to create an image that will capture the essence and the spirit of who you and or your child is at this very moment in life. My style of photography is genuine, relaxed, candid and fun. I love the studio for making "statements" with your child's personality through props and facial expressions. I also love the real world such as your home, or environment for capturing those sweet moments as they happen when you just let things unfold.
